Payment Methods
The preferred payment method is BACS via online banking, this is free and instant and extremely secure.
We also accept all major credit cards and PayPal. Note if you wish to pay by one of these methods a PayPal invoice will be emailed to you. You do not need a PayPal account and you can choose your credit or debit card. Note: PayPal will add 4% to the price of your order as their handling charge.
Cash in the studio: We only accept cash for orders over £200 in the studio.
Cheques and Postal Orders are not accepted at all.
At this time we cannot take payment over the phone or in the Studio via credit card. This is because the amount of people who actually visit the Studio to pay is too small to offset the huge charges made by the credit card companies for other equipment and their commission on every purchase, a commission we are not allowed to pass on to the customers. To make this pay we would have to increase our prices to everyone which we don't think is fair, especially when there are free alternatives such as BACS.

Cine Film Transfer
Note all storage media (USBs, Hard Drives etc) is charged as shown below and not included in the transfer price. You may send your own storage media.
Formats are MP4 as standard but you may request any other format instead for no extra charge

35 pence per foot to DVD (includes digital files if required)
Optional Additions
Proteus Ultimate Digital Remastering for Cine Film Transfer
15 pence per foot
All Proteus orders receive the standard transfer as well as the remastered footage. The Proteus footage is supplied on an included USB drive in a presentation box.

Cine Film Sound Transfers including frame perfect synchronisation
8mm Magentic sound - 22 pence per foot

Camcorder HDD (Hard Disk Drive) transfers are all priced the same:
£11 per good hour of film (after editing) To Digital files (MP4 or user-chosen format)
£20 per hour to DVD (digital footage included)

£15 per good hour of film after editing (includes raw footage)
35mm Slide Scanning
To 3200 DPI (dots per inch) equivalent to 13 megapixels including colour restoration and Digital Ice 4. Scanned to TIFF files ideal for high-end printing. The second set of JPEG images is included for ease of viewing. Negatives are priced the same.
60 pence per slide (32Mb files size)
£1 per slide to 6400 DPI
If slides need mounting add 20 pence per slide, including mount.
Reel to Reel Audio Transfer, Cassette Tape Transfer
(mono or stereo) £11 per hour
We no longer produce CDs of this content, all files output are MP3 which can be played back on any modern device from TV to PC or Phone.
Storage Media
We only use high-specification brand-name USB drives from Sandisk or Western Digital (Kingston) reading at least 130 Mb/Sec. Note prices are extremely volatile at the moment and we reserve the right to update this page regularly.
64Gb (suitable for around 8 hours of film) - £12.50

NOTE: All discounts refer to the transfer process only, any additional items such as hard drives, USB drives, couriers, postage and anything we have to purchase for your order completion are not included in the discount.

Quick Turnaround Service
​
Sometimes you may have a really urgent requirement, wedding anniversary, birthday, sadly a funeral etc. We will do everything possible to get your films to you as fast as we can. However, this means stopping our normal schedule, working on your job, then running overtime, sometimes until late in the night to catch up again. So this quick delivery is charged more as you might expect.
Same day (requires you to bring the films to the studio in the morning and collect them in the evening) - Prices as listed plus 200%, assumes it is possible to carry out the transfer in one day, larger amounts of films may take more time but will be immediately worked on.
Within 1 week - Prices as listed plus 100%
Within 2 weeks - Prices as listed plus 50%
Within 3 weeks - Prices as listed plus 25%

Note: Minimum charge and Minimum Footage length
​
We have a minimum charge for all work of £40, this is around 175 feet of cine film and 3.5 hours of videotape.
For DVDs, we have a minimum charge of £60.
​
We also have a minimum footage transfer length of 50 feet, so please do not attempt to cut down the footage on the 3-inch reels to save money as this results often in damaged film that can't be transferred.
